About Our Site

• Twentieth Century Designs' website began on November 21, 1996.
• If you have ordered from me before, we will send you an e-mail notice that new items are on the site. If you are new to me and would like notification, please email. I do not distribute this list to anyone.
• I update the site every day, therefore everything listed is available. Sold tags are immediately placed on items purchased.

Orders/Inquiries

• Please make all inquiries and orders by e-mail. If you phone about an item and leave a message, we will call you back if that item is still available for purchase. Orders should be emailed to us.
• When inquiring about an item, please include your telephone number.
• All items are priced each and firm. No bartering please.
• All pieces are in excellent condition unless otherwise specified. Our definition of "excellent" means no chips, cracks, major factory flaws, excessive wear, and no repairs. Most of the items for sale at this site are 40-70 years old and therefore we consider a few faint surface scratches to be expected. I indicate any damage, significant factory flaws, and anything more than light wear. If you are looking specifically for pieces with absolutely no wear, factory flaws, including glaze irregularities, please specify that when you are inquiring about items.
• When we reserve items awaiting your payment by check or money order, we expect that you will be sending your payment immediately. If payment does not arrive here within 7 days, your hold will expire.
• Time doesn't allow me to respond to "looking for" or "what is it worth" inquiries. Please consult price guides.

Payment

• Items payable by money order or personal check made payable to Twentieth Century Designs. I accept the following credit cards:

  

• When paying by credit card, we require:
  • credit card number and expiration date
  • your name as it appears on your card
  • billing/shipping address
  • home and work phone number
• When paying by credit card:
  • Send me the information by e-mail: many people prefer to split the credit card number into two separate emails for added security.
  • Phone me at  508.370.7330 to leave me your credit card number. If we are not home, our voicemail will record the information. Our voicemail is password protected and is accessible only to us.
  • You can use either one of these two order forms:
    • Microsoft Word Order Form, type on form then email.
• Your credit card statement will show "Twentieth Century Designs" for any charges you make with us.

Shipping

• Postage and insurance additional. Items are shipped US Postal Service Priority Mail or Federal Express.
• Shipping credit card orders: I ship to the address that your credit card statement is billed to, however, we can ship it to your employer's address if we are able to verify that it is your work address. A signature will be required for all orders paid for by credit card. The above credit card restrictions are intended to protect our liability and more importantly - fraudulent use of your credit card.
• I do not allow visitors to our home/office to pick up or view merchandise.

Returns

• Returns accepted in 5 days with our identification mark intact and prior notification. If the item is not as described, we will refund the purchase price plus return postage. I will accept returns for any other reason with the purchaser paying the return postage.

Selling To Me

• If you are offering me merchandise, we will pay up to 50-60% of retail value. If we are interested in your item(s), you ship to me first for evaluation and if acceptable, payment will then be made. No exceptions will be made. I only trade on extremely RARE occasions. If a trade is arranged, you will be required to ship the item you wish to trade to me first, then upon examination, the item you traded for will be shipped to you. This is for our protection - if you are not willing to accept these conditions please do not inquire about a trade.

Jim Medeiros (FiestaJim) has been collecting and dealing for over 20 years. His collecting interests lie mainly in pottery, dinnerware, Phoenix & Consolidated glass, and the 1939 NY World's Fair. A nurse anesthetist by profession, Jim now works in the TCD office full-time. When not shopping or shipping, he enjoys gardening, landscaping, card games, and crossword puzzles.
